Brandon Brown hits career milestone

Brandon Brown, (SO) 6-foot-7 (215) from New Orleans, LA plays his junior college basketball at Holmes Community College in Jackson, MS. Brown a post player

played his freshman season at Mountain View College in Dallas. Brandon averaged 28.3 ppg and 12 rebounds while shooting a super 66.6% (300-450) from the floor last season.

Brown transferred into Holmes Community College this fall and hasn't let up at all for the Bulldogs. The former Sarah T. Reed High School product from New Orleans is averaging 24.7 ppg this season.

"Brandon plays the center spot for us out of necessity to the team. He is best suited at the power forward position. Brandon is very athletic and strong and is one of the best players I have ever coached in college." said Holmes Community College Todd Kimble.

Southern Utah, Central Florida and Murray State are watching Brown this spring. Brandon currently has scored 1,018 career points over his junior college career. Brown has lit up the scoreboard twice this season on Jones County Junior College by scoring 35 and 38 points. The (10-4) Bulldogs are currently on a three-game losing streak after starting the season (10-1).
