Macari Brooks signed with DePaul out of high school but had to go the junior college route after he didn't qualify academically.
Brooks, a Chicago,IL native, will head back to the State of Illinois next fall to play

at Bradley University.
Brooks is a shooting guard. He is currently averaging 23.7 ppg, 6.6 rebounds and 2.6
assists this season for the Blinn College Buccaneers in Brenham, TX.
"Macari can really score the ball from all over the floor" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Brooks is shooting 63% (98-155) from the floor on the young season. The Buccaneers are currently 8-3 on the season.
