Brewer will play at Youngstown State University next season in Youngstown, OH. Brwer averaged 10.8 ppg, 3.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists this past season for the San Bernardino Valley College in Southern California. Brewer was named to the First Team All-State this season in California. The Wolverines are coached by his father Quincy Brewer.

Brewer from Rancho Cucamonga, CA helped his team to its second straight Foothill Conference title and its first undefeated 14-0 in conference play. Brewer shot 49.5% (143-294) from the floor this past season for the Wolverines.
