Bro-Grebe Headed off to JUCO

Jean Francois Bro-Grebe, a 6-9, 215 pound power forward from the Ivory Coast, will not be attending the University of Dayton in the fall.
Bro-Grebe, who had signed with the Flyers last fall as a senior at Chamblee H.S. in Georgia, has detoured to Northeastern J.C. in Sterling, Colo.

JUCO Junction has confirmed this information with NJC Head Coach Brian Joyce.
As a non-qualifier out of Chamblee, Bro-Grebe expects to spend the next two years at NJC working toward his associates degree while honing his basketball skills.
When Bro-Grebe signed with Dayton in the fall, Oliver Purnell was the head coach and Ron Jirsa the top assistant. However, Purnell left Dayton to accept the head coaching job at Clemson this spring.
Jirsa went after the Dayton job, but the school instead hired Michigan State Asst. Coach Brian Gregory. Jirsa was recently named the head coach at Marshall University in West Virginia.
