Brooks Taylor headed back home

Brooks Taylor had a great high school career at Buffalo Island Central High School. Taylor led his team to two state championships and he scored 3,646 career points in high school. Taylor, (SO) 6-foot-4 (185), played his this past at John A Logan College in Carterville, IL. Taylor signed recently with Central Arkansas University and head coach Rand Chappell for next season.

Taylor played his freshman season at South Alabama under then head coach John Pelphrey. Pelphrey moved onto Arkansas and Taylor moved onto John A Logan. Brooks averaged 15 ppg, 4 rebounds and 2.4 assists this past season for the Volunteers. Taylor made first team all conference and all region this season.

Taylor also received interest from Sam Houston State and Southeast Missouri State.
