Butler has two to follow

Butler County Community College made great strides this past season under head coach Mike Bargen. Last season the Grizzlies went 9-21 and this season the Grizzlies improved to 24-9 under Bargen in his second year as a head coach. JucoJunction touched base today with Grizzlies assistant coach Jon Craig on a few sophomores recruitment in this story.
Maurice Colter, (SO) 5-foot-10 (160) from Forestville, MD, has played the point guard position at Butler County Community College the past two seasons.

"Maurice is a tough floor leader that can execute a complex offensive system," said Craig.
Colter averaged 12.3 ppg as a freshman and this past season Maurice chipped in at 10.5 ppg and 3 assists. Colter finished his career at Butler County with 693 career points while playing in 61 games.
"Maurice plays a high level day in and day out," said Craig. Youngstown State and some Division Two schools have contacted Maurice this spring according to coach Craig.
Luke Engelken, (SO) 6-foot-6 from St Joseph, MO, is a faceup four man who transferred into Butler County Community College this past season from Iowa Western Community College.
"Luke had several double-doubles this season and he is a prolific three point shooter," said Craig.
Albany, Southern Utah, UT-Martin, New Hampshire, Centenary, Youngstown State, Pacific and Ohio University have made contact with Luke this spring according to coach Craig.
