California forward staying in state
Lavar Neufville will join former teammates Mike Nunnally and guard Mike Kirby when he makes the journey over to the University of Pacific next season.
Neufville, (SO) 6-foot-3 (200) combo guard from Fairfield, CA, received interest from UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine, San Jose State and Sacramento State.

"Lavar is a gifted athlete with remarkable quickness and slashing ability," said Delta Head coach Brian Katz. Katz is entering his 15th year at the school.
Lavar averaged 11.1 ppg and 4.1 rebounds last season. JucoJunction saw Lavar play back in late July at the Diablo Valley College Jamboree.
