Chris Busch, (SO) 6-foot-6 (225) from Merritt College in Oakland, CA, has decided he will attend Eastern Washington University next season in the Big Sky Conference according to Merritt College Head coach Troy Johnson.
Busch started his college career at Santa Rosa Junior College back in 2005-2006 season where he played in just 7 games that season. Chris sat out last year and played this past season for Merritt College where he averaged 20.9 ppg and 8.9 rebounds. He shot 51.5% (228-443) from the floor. Busch played around 38 minutes a game this season for the Thunderbirds.

"Chris has really developed his game and he is very versatile for his size. He can really be a tough matchup at times because he's a deceptive athlete and can post a opposing player up. Eastern Washington did a great job of recruiting Chris and really made him a priority for their team for next season," said Johnson.
Central Connecticut State, Texas Southern, South Carolina State, Sacramento State and North Texas all expressed interest in Chris this season.
