Dre Conner played last season at Towson University before transferring to Labette Community College this summer. "Dre is a tough all around point guard who is also a very good defender. Dre really plays his butt off on both ends of the court," said Raney. Conner is ranked No. 81 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150 this season is currently averaging 19.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game this season for the Cardinals.
Conner has hit on 51 percent (48-94) from the floor and 50 percent (17-34) from 3-point range. Conner is still receiving little interest at this current time according to Raney but Furman and Manhattan have called in on him recently.
Wendell Lee played his freshman season in the California Community College system at El Camino. The wing player is currently hitting on 17.6 points and 7.8 rebounds an outing for the Cardinals. "Wendell is a very athletic player who really thrives in transition," said Raney. UC-Irvine, UC-Riverside and San Jose State has kept tabs on Lee this fall according to Raney.
Cardinals freshman Vic Adams is off to a quick start this season. The Florida native is currently averaging 19.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game this season. "Vic is a scorer on the floor along with being good shooter," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson. Adams has connected on 42 percent (32-77) of his 3-pointers this season.
