Cardinals look good

The Mitchell-Mullen Jamboree in Dallas every year seems to bring some top quality talent. This season appears to be no exception. JucoJunction takes a look at a few players from one Eastern Texas School in this article.
Martez Walker is a name that has been around ever since his ninth grade year of high school. Walker started his high school at Reserve Christian in LaPlace, L.A. then he made stops at Central Park Christian(AL), Monteverde Academy (FL)and American Christian in Aston, P.A. Walker was a onetime Louisville recruit back in high school and he played at American Christian with Tyreke Evans (now with the Sacramento Kings).

Walker played last season at Barstow College in Barstow, C.A. Walker averaged 13.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Walker, a lefthanded forward, loves to drive the ball to the basket and gets to the foul line with his style of play. Walker informed JucoJunction that he is wide open in the recruiting process and won't take any visits until the spring period.
Demario Hines played last season at John A Logan College in Carterville, I.L. Hines a power forward averaged 6.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game on a very talented Volunteers squad. The Cleveland, O.H. native signed with IPFW out of high school but failed to qualify academically.
The left-handed Hines has received some early interest from Central Michigan and Toledo this fall.
D.D Scarver is a 6-foot-4 wing player from Birmingham, A.L. that should see some good minutes this season for the Cardinals. The freshman can really stroke the three ball and slash to the cup.
The Cardinals have a good group of players to make a strong run in Eastern Texas this coming season.
Stay tuned to JucoJunction all season long to see how things pan out in the Lone Star State right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting.
