Cards and Golden Eagles guards decide

The Cardinals of North Idaho College will have to fill a big need next season in the back court. Cardinals Head Coach Jared Phay touched base with JucoJunction today on one of his players college decision for next fall. "Michael Hale will play at the University of Texas San Antonio next season," said Phay.

The point guard from Federal Way, W.A. averaged 17.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game this past season for the Cardinals. Hale scored 893 points over the course of his Cardinal career.
"Michael is a dream point guard, because he can really score, but his first priority is running the team," said Phay.
Hale has been a two-time All-American and two-time First Team All-Conference performer in the Scenic West Conference.
Hale is ranked No.104 in the JucoJunction Top 150 this season.
James Kinney (pictured on front) will head to the Bay Area of California and play at San Jose State University next season according to Utah State University - College of Eastern Utah Head Coach Brad Barton.
Kinney started his college career at Ohio University where he averaged nine points per game before transferring to College of Eastern Utah. The Champaign, I.L. native averaged 13 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game this season in just 14 games.
Kinney only played half the season before he suffered a broken jaw. Kinney will suit up for the Spartans in the WAC Conference next fall. Kinney is ranked No.136 in the JucoJunction Top 150.
