Cards duo decides

Region 14 of East Texas produces many players to the NCAA Division One level every season. JucoJunction found out today that two Cardinals players have settled on a school choice for next season. Read more about these players in this article right here on your source for junior college basketball.
Darius Gatson and Demario Hines have found schools for next season according to Trinity Valley Community College Head Coach Pat Smith. "Darius will be attending Sam Houston State while Demario will be going to IPFW," said Smith.

Gatson is a point guard who averaged 11.9 points, 6.4 assists and 2.3 steals per game this season while shooting 51 percent from the floor for the Cardinals.
Hines is a post player from Cleveland, O.H. He transferred in this past season from John A Logan College in Carterville, I.L. Hines averaged 11.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game this past season for the Cardinals. Hines shot 58 percent from the floor. Hines signed with IPFW out of high school but failed to qualify academically.
