The Cardinals are led by sophomore point guard Michael Hale. Hale is from Federal Way, W.A. and is averaging 17 points and 4.4 assists per game this season for the Cardinals. "Michael is our leader and he dictates what we do. He really understands how to play the game and is a tough player," said Cardinals Head Coach Jared Phay.
Texas San Antonio, Idaho, Portland State, Montana, Northern Colorado and Eastern Washington are showing interest in him this season according to coach Phay.
Tyrone White (lead photo) came over to the Cardinals from Utah State University and is averaging 14.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game from the wing position. The Portland, O.R. native is receiving interest from Sam Houston State, Cal State Fullerton and Loyola Marymount according to coach Phay.
"Tyrone is a complete player. He can play the 1-4 positions on the floor and does everything so well," said Phay.
Anthony DiLoreto is the big man in the middle. The redshirt freshman transfer from Utah State is from Minnetonka, M.N.
Kent State, Longwood University, Detroit Mercy and Cal State Fullerton are courting the center this season. "Anthony is a very skilled big man that just needs to add weight to his frame," said Phay. DiLoreto is averaging 6.4 points per game this season.
