Carl Albert guard decides to sign early

Carl Albert State College in Poteau, OK has had a few rough seasons lately under head coach Mike St. John. This season the Vikings are looking to turn the corner with a solid sophomore class. JucoJunction saw the Vikings play last month in Dallas, TX at the Mitchell-Mullen Dallas Blowout. JucoJunction was informed this morning that one Vikings player decided to sign a National Letter of Intent on the opening day and we have it right here for your source on junior college basketball recruiting.
"Kidani Brutus has signed with Manhattan College," said St. John.

Brutus, a (SO) 6-foot-0 (220) point guard from Bronx, NY, is in his second year with the program at Carl Albert State College.
"Kidani is a very crafty point guard that knows how to play the game very well," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Brutus averaged 11.6 ppg, 4 rebounds and 2.7 assists last year for the Vikings while shooting 49% from the floor. The Vikings are currently 0-2 on the young season heading into games this weekend in West Plains,MO.
