Carl Albert looking to rebound

Carl Albert State College Mike St John hopes to improve on a (9-20) season. Coach St John has four returners back from last season's team.
Calvin Rayford (SO) 6-foot-2 (175) from Memphis, TN. Rayford is 25 years old and averaged 6.1 points last year from the two guard spot.

"Calvin started as a freshman last year," said St. John. "He is a hard nose player who always defends the other team's best player."
Rayford carries a 3.9 GPA in the classroom. He put up seven threes in a single game in the juco jamboree in Dallas last weekend.
Aukai Wong (SO) 6-foot-3 (195) from Hilo, Hawaii. Wong is a two guard who scored 3.9 points per game last year.
"Aukai has had a really good fall, he is the most competitive kid in the world," St. John said.
He wants to be a cage fighter, as in extreme fighting, so toughness is no question. Both of the above players are getting mostly Division II interest right now.
Bart Jileson (SO) 7-foot (210) from The Netherlands.
"Bart has gained more confidence this season, he's a lot more aggressive than last year," St. John said. "He has had a year to play now he knows what to expect."
Jileson moves well for a five man, but must finish better. He is probably a low-major tpe player.
Anthony Brown (SO) 6-foot-8 (205) from Brooklyn, NY. He is a power forward who averaged 3.6 points a season ago.
"I am waiting for him to explode and take things over," said the coach.
Brown is another low-major prospect. He had eight blocks against Clarendon College over the weekend and is a strong defender.
Keep an eye on freshman Keyshore Williams, an athletic small forward from Lithonia, GA.
