Catamounts strike twice in juco ranks

Western Carolina University had to fill some holes for next season. The Catamounts found those needs in the junior college ranks. JucoJunction has the latest on what two players the Catamounts signed for next season in this article.
Mike Williams, (SO) 6-foot-1 (175) from Jackson State Community College in Tennessee, and Anthony Phillips, (SO) 6-foot-4 (220) from Miami Dade College, will play at Western Carolina University next fall.

Williams prepped at Genesis One Christian School in Mendenhall, MS after playing high school ball in Baton Rouge, LA. Williams averaged 19.2 ppg this past season and 5.4 assists. Williams, a combo guard, guided the Generals to a 33-15 mark over two years at Jackson State Community College.
Phillips, a wing player, averaged 7.9 ppg and 5.2 rebounds this year for a very talented Sharks team. Phillips is a Lauderdale Lakes, FL native. Both players look to get major minutes for the Catamounts next season.
