Cecil Players Moving On

Bill Lewit has built an NJCAA Division II powerhouse at Cecil C.C. in Northeast, Md., over the past several years.
Under Lewit's direction, the Seahawks have posted many 20 win seasons and have been to the NJCAA Division II Tournament in Danville, Ill., several times.

Equally important, Lewit's kids graduate and move on to four-year schools. After posting a 27-7 record and making it to the NJCAA Division II Final Four in March, several Seahawk players are moving on to new colleges in the fall.
Jareem Dowling, a husky 6-5, 235 pound power forward from Delaware via the Virgin Islands, has signed with Maryland-Eastern Shore.
Despite not being a great athlete, Dowling is a power player who gets quite a bit down on the low block.
Ron Harris, a 5-10 point guard from New Jersey, has signed with Caldwell College in the Garden State.
Both Dowling and Harris will have two years of eligibility left starting in the fall of 2003.
