Center finds school
"Deng Leek has committed to the Southern Illinois University" said Jacksonville College head coach Jody Bailey. Leek, a third year center, will have two seasons to play for Salukis in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Leek averaged 4 ppg and 3.6 rebounds this past season for the 11-20 Jaguars.

"Deng really felt comfortable with Coach Hinson and SIU. Deng has an opportunity to learn from a proven coach and compete in a terrific conference like the Missouri Valley Conference" said Bailey.
Leek played his freshman season at Tallahassee Community College after playing high school ball at Wesleyan Christian in North Carolina.
