CEUs Grant Hoping to Take Pair of Trips

Anthony Grant, a 6-4, 185 pound freshman shooting guard from the College of Eastern Utah in Price, Ut., is hoping to take a pair of official visits after the Final Four.
Grant told JUCO Junction that he is planning to visit both Colorado State and Oregon State, although no trips have been scheduled to this date.

The Final Four weekend is a dead one, meaning that no players can take official visits to Division I programs.
In addition to CSU and OSU, Grant said he's also interested in visiting Hawaii. However, the Rainbows haven't offered him an official visit yet. Grant said if they did, he would visit Hawaii as well this spring.
Kansas State and Eastern Washington have also shown some interest in Grant this spring, but haven't been as serious as the three aforementioned colleges.
A native of Seattle, Wash., Grant enjoyed a breakout freshman year for CEU, averaging 16.2 points and 4.2 rebounds for the Golden Eagles. He shot 42 percent from the floor and 39 percent from beyond the three point arc.
Because he was a qualifier out of high school in Seattle, Grant has the option of leaving CEU after his freshman year with three to play on the Division I level. He told JUCO Junction that he is 80 to 90 percent sure that he will move on to a D-I school in the fall of 2003.
We'll keep you posted on the Pacific Northwest marksman as the spring signing period approaches.
