Cape Fear Community College head coach Ryan Mantlo confirmed this morning to JucoJunction that Mi'Kyel Nero will play at NCAA D2 school Francis Marion University in Florence, S.C. Nero was a third year sophomore this past season for the 26-9 Dolphins.

Nero started his career at Brunswick Community College in Supply, N.C. and then moved onto Georgia State University where he redshirted. Nero was an academic qualifier out of high school in Virginia.
Nero averaged 7.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game last season. He shot 53.9 percent (89-165) from the floor for the Sea Devils. The Sea Devils went to the NJCAA National Tourney this past March and went 2-2.
