Waiting until the end of the summer always brings some recruitment shakeup for some players every year in the junior college ranks. Read more about which player will stay in the Midwest this coming season right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting news.
William Kirksey was ranked No. 13 in the 2011 JucoJunction Top 150. The power forward will suit for the Mules of Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Mo. this coming season.

Kirksey averaged 13.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this past season for the Blue Storm of Southwestern Illinois College. Kirksey fell short of graduation after signing back in the fall period with Coastal Carolina University.
Kirksey will have two seasons to play for the Mules and will also join Widgett Washington, who was ranked No. 28 in the 2011 JucoJunction Top 150. The Mules are a NCAA D2 program.
Kirksey played his freshman season at Southeastern Illinois College before transferring to to Southwestern Illinois College this season.
Kirksey averaged 12.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game as a freshman for the Falcons and then Head Coach Todd Franklin. Franklin moved onto Vincennes University this past season to coach the Trailblazers.
