Chaps duo makes the call

The Midland College Chaps finished lost in the NJCAA National Championship game to the College of Southern Idaho 72-64 last month in Hutchinson. The Chaps have a duo signing scholarship papers today on the first day of the period. Read more about these two players right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting.
"Dwayne Davis (pictured on front) will be going to the University of Southern Mississippi while Darren White will be heading to Campbell University," said Chaps Head Coach Ross Hodge.

Davis started his college career at Morehead State University before heading off to Redlands Community College in El Reno, O.K. last year. Davis averaged 13.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game this past season while shooting 53 percent from the floor.
"Dwayne plays really hard at all times. He can really get to the basket in transition and shows that he can score the ball off the bounce quite well," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
White, a wing player from Danville, V.A., played his freshman campaign at James Madison University. White averaged 6.8 points per game this season for the Chaps on very talented and deep squad.
