Chaps prepare for tourney play

The Region V Basketball Tourney starts this week in Lubbock, T.X. The Chaps of Midland College have plenty of talent this season. Guy Landry is a physically mature player that plays at Midland College in Midland, T.X. Landry prepped at Mississippi Elite Christian Academy and Stoneridge Prep before junior college.

Landry is currently averaging 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game this season for the Chaps while shooting 61 percent from the floor.

Landry has received plenty of interest this spring according to coach Hodge. Seton Hall, Missouri, Miami, Missouri State, Wichita State and Central Michigan are all interested according to Hodge.
