Chipola guard to the Sunflower State

Clevin Hannah, (SO) 6-foot-0 (160), has a new home this coming season at Chipola College in Marianna, FL. Hannah transferred in from Paris Junior College (TX) where he averaged 10.4 ppg and 4.3 assists for Dragons last season as a freshman. The talented point guard will be headed off to the Missouri Valley Conference.

Hannah will take his game to the Wichita State University and play for the Shockers.

"When he got back he talked about the people they had up there, and it starts with Coach (Gregg) Marshall," Chipola head coach Greg Heiar said. "Those guys were great. The players really showed him that they're serious about winning."

Hannah from Holly Springs, MS will join up with former Paris JC teammate Ramon Clemente at Wichita State. Wichita State assistant coach Chris Jans previously was the head coach at Chipola while Greg Heiar was his assistant coach. Jans was at Illinois State prior to moving onto Wichita State this season.
