Chipola rolling once again

The Chipola College Indians are off to a 19-0 record to start the season. JucoJunction.com had a chance to talk with Coach Greg Heiar about a few of his sophomores that don't get a lot of lime light.
Eric Price: (FR) 6 foot 2 (161) from Washington DC. Price came to Chipola College via Wabash Valley CC (IL) where he was enrolled in last January 2006. Eric

will have three years to play at the next level.
The one time Memphis commitment moved onto Coastal Christian (VA) for then the last two years of high school.
"Eric can really defend and is extremely fast with the ball," Heiar said. "He prefers a up-tempo style of play."
Alabama State, Hampton, Hawaii and Utah have shown some interest in Price.
James Staten: (FR) 5 foot 9 (170) from Chipley, FL. Staten redshirted last season and will graduate this spring and have 3 years at the next level.
"James is a great on the ball defender that makes good decisions," commented Heiar.
The combo guard has received some interest from North Florida and several D2 schools.
Ed Berrios: (SO) 5 foot 11 (175) from Bronx, NY. The second year point guard is averaging 7.2 points and four assists a game.
"Ed is the floor general, he's a true point guard," Heiar said. "He has really improved on the defensive end."
Cleveland State, Texas San-Antonio, St Francis (NY), and Long Island have shown interest in him.
Johnnie Harris: (SO) 6 foot 8 (250) from Chicago, IL. The power forward is so quick off his feet. Harris has had only 12 turnovers all season from the post position.
"Johnnie is the ultimate role player and he's so explosive," said Heiar. "It's no telling how good he could be if the ball went through him more."
Rhode Island-offered and Fresno State has recently called. Harris is averaging 10 points and five rebounds on the season and shooting 65% from the floor.
