Citrus has a ton to offer

The talent at Citrus College this season should make head coach Rick Croy quite busy on the phone talking to college coaches about his players. JucoJunction got the update on some more prospects for the Fighting Owls and two of them are freshman qualifiers.
Ralph Monday: (SO) 6-foot-3 (180) from Pasadena, CA. Monday transferred in from Glendale College which plays in the same conference with Citrus. Ralph averaged 5.3 ppg and 4 rebounds last season.

"Ralph really likes the game fast. He really has a great motor and can hit the trail jumper in transition," said Croy.
Bronson Harker: (SO) 6-foot-6 (215). Harker is an older kid that has made previous stops at Arizona Western and College of Eastern Utah. Bronson has also done a Mormon Mission for a few years. The 4.0 GPA student relocated to Citrus College this fall with his wife.
"Bronson is a post player that is a strong kid and he will be a complimentary player to the rest of the team with his toughness and experience," said Croy.
Troy Payne: (FR) 6-foot-6 (200) from Los Angeles, CA. Payne played this past season at Milestone Prep in Raleigh, NC. The academic qualifier can leave Citrus College after this season with three years to play.
"Troy reminds me of Ron Artest. He can physically be dominant in a game. Troy makes great pursuit to get the ball and can really drive the ball to the basket," said Croy.
"The combo forward is very active on both ends and when he is focused he is very tough to stop," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
A.J. Gaspora: (FR) 6-foot-2 (180) from Lakewood, CA. Gaspora is an academic qualifier that played his high school ball at Artesia High School.
"The saavy lefty is a great glue to a program," said Swanson.
A.J. can knock down the three ball and can post some up smaller guards.
Valentine Ike: (FR) 6-foot-5 (185) from Corona, CA. Ike greyshirted last season at Citrus College.
"Valentine has great explosion off the floor and really stalks the baseline. He is a great leaper who can knock down the midrange jumper off the bounce," said Swanson.
Look for Citrus College to make some noise this season in the California JUCO ranks and stay here with JucoJunction for any player movements from the Fighting Owls.
