Cleveland State nabs big signing

Region 10 coaches will be happy to see Lance James leave Aiken Tech now that he has played two seasons for head coach Bruce Capers. James decided to sign a National Letter of Intent today and JucoJunction has the latest on where this combo guard will be heading next season.
James, (SO) 5-foot-11 from Lithonia, GA, is a combo guard who started his college career at the University of Albany but didn't play there. Lance is off to Cleveland State University next season after signing with the Vikings today according to coach Capers. James averaged 23.4 ppg and 6.1 assists this past season for the Knights. Lance shot an unreal 48.8% (61-125) from three-point range. Lance scored 900 points in 62 games played for the Vikings over two seasons.

"Lance is tough nosed kid that can finds way to score the ball. I really enjoyed watching him play this season at Aiken Tech. Cleveland State really got themselves a good player but also a good person in return for next season," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
James narrowed down his decision to South Alabama and Cleveland State before signing with head coach Gary Waters and Cleveland State University.
