Clinton prospect makes a commitment

Clinton Junior College is located in Rock Hill, SC and is coached by Donald Payton. Clinton Junior College has a small enrollment of just 125 students. JucoJunction was informed today by coach Payton on where one of his sophomore players will be going onto school next season. Dominic Alston made an early pledge this season to Winston Salem State.
CJ Wilkerson, (SO) 6-foot-4 (205) from Oxford, NC, will be going to North Carolina Central University according to coach Payton. Wilkerson, a wing player, played his freshman season at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, IA. Wilkerson averaged 13.7 ppg and 4 rebounds this season for the Golden Bears. The Golden Bears lost in the championship of the Region Tourney this season to Cape Fear Community College.

The Golden Bears were led in scoring this season by freshman Heath White, 6-foot-3 from Cincinnati, OH, averaged 19.7 ppg and 5.6 rebounds. White attended Taft High School before moving on to the Patterson School in Lenoir, NC for a very brief stint and left shortly after the school year started.
"Heath has a kinda of a old school game he won't overwhelm you in any aspect of the game but he is very productive on what he does," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
