Coffeyville Community College

Coffeyville Community College was a hot place this weekend besides hosting 12 teams for the annual JUCO Jamboree. The Ravens third ranked football team played host to No.1 Butler County in the NJCAA. The town was buzzing with all the excitement and with 8,000 tickets were presold for the football game - some fans still made there way over to watch the beloved Ravens. Stacy Wilson is a wing player player from Mullins, S.C. that averaged 11 points and 2.2 rebounds per game last season for the Ravens. Wilson shot 37 percent (51-137) from 3-point range. Hofstra and Gardner Webb have shown early interest in Wilson according to head coach Jay Herkelman. "Stacy is a great defender with a long wingspan," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson. Wilson made all region tournament team for the 22-12 Ravens last season.

Kevin Broussard returns to the Jayhawk Conference this season after averaging 13.5 points per game last season while shooting 42 percent (91-218) from 3-point range. "Kevin is an undersized guard but, don't let the size scare you away from this deep range shooter with a strong frame," said Swanson. Broussard is wide open in his recruitment.
TJ Stevens returns to the Ravens for his third season. Stevens is an Overland Park, K.S. native who is a physical pick and pop type of four man. Southern Illinois-Edwardsville has shown some early interest in Stevens according to Ravens Assistant Coach Kyle Campbell.
Eriq Harris and Neil Watson both transferred into Coffeyville Community College this past fall. Harris moved in from Odessa College (TX) and Watson from Toledo University. "Eriq is a freak athlete that played his high school basketball at Chicago Marshall," said Swanson.
Watson redshirted last year at Toledo University and can leave with three years to play. Harris will run the point guard position for the Ravens this season.
