Coffeyville player to the Valley

University of Northern Iowa went looking for a player in the Jayhawk Conference and walked away with a commitment yesterday. Coffeyville Community College has had much success under head coach Jay Herkleman. The Ravens finished the season at 24-8 under Herkleman, an Iowa native. JucoJunction has the latest on which Ravens player has decided to continue his career in the Missouri Valley Conference next season.
Antonio Jones, (SO) 6-foot-4 (200) from Chicago, will be heading to UNI next season to play for the Panthers. Jones averaged 11.5 ppg, 2.6 rebounds and shot 45.5% (127-279) from the floor this season for the Ravens. Jones only needed one official visit to decide where he wanted to go this coming fall. Antonio was being recruited by TCU and UTEP before deciding on the Panthers. Jones played his freshman season at Western Nebraska Community College.
Jones now joins teammate Terrance Hill, who has committed to Loyola University-Chicago for next season. JucoJunction will keep you posted on what the other Ravens players will do in the near future.
