Coffeyville prospects have options

The Red Ravens of Coffeyville Community College in Kansas knows what it takes to get to that next level. The Ravens have won Region six 4 out of the last 5 seasons and advanced to the National Tourney. JucoJunction had a chance to touch base today with Head Coach Jay Herkelman. Herkelman is in his 12th year at school and is currently (17-3) on the season.
Barry Eberhardt: (SO) 6-foot-6 (245) from Inkster, MI.

"Barry is the best scoring forward I have had at Coffeyville," said Herkelman.
The big strong physical post player can knock down the 12-15 footer. Wichita State, Bradley, UNLV, Butler, Central Michigan, St. Louis and Dayton are keeping tabs on Eberhardt. Barry is at 18.9 ppg, 6.4 rebounds and 59% (150-254) from the floor.
Brandon Kennedy: (SO) 6-foot-3 (210) from Rialto, CA.
"Kennedy always defends the best perimeter player and moves really well in the offense,"
said Herkelman. "Kennedy really has good knowledge of the game and just does all the intangibles you need to win a game."
Recently versus Seward County Brandon had 22 points and 13 rebounds. Kennedy has missed 4 games this season with a foot injury. He is wide open in the recruiting process. Brandon is hitting 10.1 ppg this year.
Tarod Sanders: (SO) 6-foot-6 (250) from Chanute, KS. The power forward has been hampered by a foot injury. Sanders sat out last season with a shoulder injury. Sanders competes and has a nice little left hook. Tarod is open in the recruiting process. Sanders is averaging 7.5 ppg and 4.5 rebounds.
Aaron Jackson: (SO) 6-foot-2 (185) from Kansas City, KS. The Red Ravens point guard backed up a first-team All -American last season.
"Aaron is solid but, not flashy," said Herkelman.
Jackson is receiving some D2 interest while scoring 6.8 ppg this season.
Daniel Payne: (FR) 6-foot-7 (200) from South Bend, IN. Payne is hitting for 13.7 ppg and 6.6 rebounds a night for the Red Ravens.
"Daniel is a very tenacious player that can score in a variety of ways," said Herkelman.
