Colbys Miller Becomes Third Trojan to Commit

Branden Miller, a 6-1 point/combo guard from Colby C.C. in Colby, Kan., committed to Montana State today.
Colby Head Coach Brian Ostermann informed JUCO Junction that Miller picked MSU after also considering Southwest Missouri State. Miller's only official visit of the Fall was to Montana State.

"Branden is one of the heart and soul guys of
our team," Coach Ostermann noted. "He brings toughness and great intensity everyday."
"He loved the smaller atmosphere of Bozeman much like Colby's," Ostermann continued. "Branden is the best returning guard in the Jayhawk and I know Montana State is thrilled to get a commitment from a player of Branden's caliber. Jerry Olson did a great job recruiting him."
Miller averaged 13.4 ppg a season ago in
helping the Trojans to the Region VI semifinals. He made 85 three pointers
while shooting 36 percent from 3 point range.
A native of Milwaukee, Wis., Miller is expected to sign a national letter of intent with Montana State in November.
