Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College assistant coach Patrick Wilcher informed JucoJunction today that power forward Ice Asortse is receiving college interest this fall.

The Nigeria, Africa native averaged 10.1 points and 9.2 rebounds per game for the Bulldogs last season while shooting 56.2 percent (90-160)
Asortse carries a 3.5 GPA in the classroom according to Wilcher. Asortse was a member of the 2nd team MACJC all league tourney last season. The Bulldogs finished the season at 21-6 last season.
The rugged power forward is receiving early interest from Middle Tennessee State, South Alabama and Iona according to Wilcher.
