Collin County duo make decisions

Head coach Jim Sigona has three of his four sophomores spoken for next season already. Nick Shaw signed in the fall with Stephen F. Austin. Shaw averaged 13 ppg and 7 rebounds this season.
Frane Markusovic: (SO) 6-foot-10 (240) from Croatia. Frane verballed to American University for next season. Markusovic played his freshman season at South Florida where he played in just four games for the Bulls.

"Frane is best suited for the next level and the kids he will be playing against. American University was on him all season long and did a great job of recruiting him," said Sigona.
Frane averaged 5 ppg and 5 rebounds this season. Frane also received some interest from Boston University.
Quincy Sarpy: (SO) 6-foot-4 (200) from Mesquite, TX. Sarpy took a visit last week to Gardner-Webb and liked what he saw. The academic qualifier out of high school also visited new D1 program North Carolina Central.
"He really liked the players that he met and the coaching staff," said Sigona.
Quincy was a 1st team All-Region Player this season and averaged 14 ppg and 6 rebounds.
