Collin County prospect is a Cougar

Collin County Community College in Plano,TX has had great success under New York State native Jim Sigona. Sigona started the program at Collin County nineteen years ago and is still going strong. Coach Sigona had one more player sign on the dotted line today with the University of Houston of Conference USA. Adam Brown, (SO) 6-foot-3 (180), hails from San Antonio,TX. Brown was the MVP of the North Texas Conference along with an All-Region first-team member in Region 5 this past season.

"Adam will fit the way Houston plays," said Sigona. Brown received interest from Wichita State, North Texas and Utah State this spring. Brown averaged 18.3 ppg and 3 rebounds this season for the Cougars.

Brown now joins Matt Read (Utah) and Clavell Gilberto (Sam Houston State) in signing with Division One programs for next season. Fellow teammate Cedric Henderson, a point guard, is still making a decision.
