Collin County shooter stays in Texas
Collin County forward Nick Shaw has made his decision. Shaw informed JucoJunction just minutes ago that he would sign on Wednesday with Stephen F. Austin. Shaw also held an offer from Coastal Carolina. He visited both schools.
"I think that (Stephen F. Austin's) offense is kind of similar to what we do here at Collin County and I think that's going to fit me pretty well," Shaw said. "I think that they could use a player like me really. I think I could go there next year as a junior and help them right away."

Shaw is averaging 15 points per game in Collin's 2-and-0 start. He is a good shooter and ball handler at 6-foot-6.
"I think the penetration from the four spot, really," Shaw said of his strengths. "To create for some of the rest of the players. They have some shooters, but I think I could help out in that area too."
