Coming back home

The idea for some kids is to go away to college a few seasons and then return closer to home. One player from the Panhandle Conference did just that today. Christian Farmer is a left-handed shooting guard from Charlotte, N.C. who is currently a sophomore at Tallahassee Community College.

Farmer will now play next fall in the Big South Conference at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C. after signing with them yesterday.
Farmer is off to a quick start for the Eagles as he has averaged 14.7 points per game. He has connected on 11 of his 25 shots from 3-point range.
Farmer is ranked No. 133 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150. Look for Farmer and the rest of his teammates at TCC to try to make a return trip to Hutchinson, Kan. this coming March for the NJCAA National Tourney.
