Commitments, Commitments, Commitments!

A number of commitments have come to the attention of JUCO Junction within the past 48 hours. For convenience sake, we have decided to group these into one single article.
Division I Commitments

Jacque Pate, a 6-10 center from Howard J.C. in Big Spring, Tex., has signed with the University of New Orleans, according to Hawks Head Coach Chris Jans.
Mattias Johannson, a developing 6-11, 245 pound center from Yavapai C.C. in Prescott, Ariz., has signed with Boise State. Yavapai Head Coach Brooks Thompson confirmed the commitment for JUCO Junction this week.
Mike English, a 6-4, 220 pound forward from Kaskaskia C.C. in Centralia, Ill., signed with Missouri-Kansas City.
Aaron Patterson, a 6-5 power forward from St. Catharine College in Kentucky, will play next year at Eastern Illinois.
Terrez DeWalt, a very athletic 6-5 swingman from St. Catharine College in Kentucky, has signed with Eastern Kentucky.
Both Patterson's and DeWalt's commitments were confirmed by Patriots Head Coach Kevin Burton.
Non D-I Commitments
Gabe Johnson and Jared Fears of Howard J.C. in Big Spring, Tex., have opted to stay in West Texas for college next year. Jans said that both players will attend Lubbock Christian University in the fall. Johnson is a beefy 6-6, 260 pound power forward from Slaton, Tex., and Fears is a 5-11 point guard from San Antonio, Tex.
