Conference USA bound

JucoJunction is looking to hit the road this weekend with three stops to start the month of October. The first stop will be in Dallas, Tex. and one player will no longer be on the board when we see him play. Read more about this player and where he's headed right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting news JucoJunction.
Howard College assistant coach Jase Coburn informed JucoJunction that Jacob Thomas will play at UTEP next season for Miners Head Coach Tim Floyd. Thomas signed with Long Beach State out of high school before landing in Big Spring, Tex.

Thomas averaged 14.9 points and 1.7 rebounds per game last season for the Hawks.
"Jacob really has the ability to make shots in traffic while popping off screens," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Thomas hails from Columbia Heights, Minn. The Hawks will look to try to take down league rival South Plains College this season in the always tough West Texas Region.
