Conference USA bound

"Neil Watson has signed with the University of Southern Mississippi," said Coffeyville Community College Assistant Coach Kyle Campbell told JucoJunction this afternoon.

Watson will have three years to play for the Golden Eagles after redshirting as a freshman at the University of Toledo.
Watson will join Dwayne Davis and Keith Dewitt next season at USM next season from the junior college ranks. Golden Eagles assistant coach Greg Heiar did a great job of recruiting these players to USM.
Watson received interest from Tulsa and Creighton this spring before deciding on the Golden Eagles. Watson averaged 12.7 points and 5 assists per game this season for the fifth place Red Ravens 33-5 on the season.
