Cougar Headed to Conference USA

Redlands Community College in El Reno, OK will look to fill one scholarship this coming season. The Cougars were hit with an unexpected loss when one of there own decided to move onto the division one level for this coming fall. Dwayne Davis will take his game from El Reno, OK to Hattiesburg, MS and the University of Southern Mississippi. Davis will have three years to play for the Eagles in Conference USA.

The 6-foot-5 Davis started his college career at Morehead State University for one semester before heading over to Redlands Community college. Davis only played this past season at the Region 2 School.

"Dwayne has a strong body and is more of a scorer than a shooter" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson. Davis averaged 13 ppg and 6 rebounds this past season for the Cougars and head coach Yaphett King.
