Cougars player decides

Redlands Community College in El Reno, Okla. is coached by former Cougars player Yaphett King. Coach King informed JucoJunction today that Dustin Giles has made a verbal pledge to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore for next fall.

Giles a shooting guard from nearby Oklahoma City, Okla. averaged 9.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game last season while shooting a blistering 59 percent (38-64) from 3-point range. "I'm really proud of Dustin. He's a tough defender and should provide immediate help on the perimeter for UMES," said King.
