Ashton Brown averaged 24.2 points and 4.9 rebounds a game as a freshman back in the 2009-2010 season for Jamestown Community College in Upstate New York. Brown played this past season at Coastal Bend College in Beeville, T.X.

Brown averaged 12.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game this past season for the 13-17 Cougars. Brown will play at nearby Texas A&M-Kingsville this coming fall. Texas A&M-Kingsville is a NCAA D2 program that plays in the Lone Star Conference.
Charles Mells will be a sophomore this season for the Cougars. The Miami, F.L. native will look to improve on his game this season after averaging four points and 6.2 rebounds per contest as a freshman.
