Ahmad Walker and Jalin Barnes have been quite a duo for the Barton Community College Cougars this season in Great Bend, KS. Walker and Barnes both transferred into the school this past fall.

Walker, a third year player, started his college career at Stony Brook University. Walker was recently named Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week for the Cougars.
The Cougars are currently one game behind Butler County Community College in the Jayhawk Conference Western Division with just three games to play.
Walker is averaging 20.4 ppg, 7.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists this season. He has connected on 53% (149-282) from the floor.
Walker is receiving interest from Middle Tennessee State, Albany, St Bonaventure, Florida Gulf Coast University according to Cougars Assistant coach Matt Hundley.
Barnes started his college career at Howard College (TX). Barnes, a North Carolina native, has received some interest from Sam Houston State according to Hundley.
Barnes is averaging 14 ppg, 3.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists this season.
The Cougars are currently 22-5 on the season under Head Coach Craig Fletchall.
