Cougars updates
The start of conference play is in full effect and many schools have started back to classes this past week. One junior college basketball program in the Jayhawk Conference suffered a few losses over the semester.

"Chris Cantino is no longer part of the basketball program at Barton County College," said Head Coach Craig Fletchall.
The Cougars are currently 13-4 on the season. Cantino, a freshman from Philadelphia, P.A. and Rise Academy, will look to play elsewhere next season.
Cantino a combo forward averaged 13 points and 7.9 rebounds per game this season for the Cougars in 11 games played. Kevin Barber a instate freshman recently left the basketball program after a conference game according to Fletchall.
The Cougars are down to eight players on there active roster.
