Cowboys grab another junior college star

The Oklahoma State Cowboys lost one high school all-American in the last week when Gerald Green made himself eligible for the NBA draft. But the Pokes have also now picked up their second junior college all-American.
College of Southern Idaho point guard Jamaal Brown has signed his letter of intent with OSU.

"They never wavered far from the top of his list," said CSI head coach Barrett Peery. "He wanted to go there."
Brown had taken an official visit to OSU last year. He tripped to Gonzaga last weekend and was scheduled to visit Missouri beginning today. But that trip was never made.
The 6-foot-1 Brown led the Eagles to a 33-and-3 record and a third-place finish at the national tournament last month. He led the team with 15 points per game and also dished out eight assists per night.
"He is very strong and aggressive with the ball," said Peery. "He pushes it up the floor. He can shoot the ball well and is also unselfish and distributes the ball to his teammates."
Brown is the second member of the CSI team to sign this week, joining Mohamed Kone.
