Williams, a Chicago native and the #13 ranked player in the JucoJunction Top 150, played his freshman season at Chipola College in Marianna, FL. Williams prepped at Farragut Academy out on the West Side of Chicago.
"Darrell has a great skill level and can step out and knock down shots," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Williams is currently averaging 9.4 ppg and 9.2 rebs this season for the Chaps.
Williams will join J.P. Olukemi from Vincennes University in the Cowboys recruiting class for 2010-2011. Olukemi is not ranked in the Top 150 this season because he's not playing for the Blazers. Olukemi will enroll at Oklahoma State in January 2010 and have three years to play for the Cowboys.
