Cowley forward sets his future

Cowley College in Arkansas City, KS had a great season this year and finished the year at (31-3). The Tigers are led by head coach Steve Eck. JucoJunction was informed today by assistant coach Lance Madison that Preston Brown has decided on a school for next fall.

Brown, (SO) 6-foot-6 (225) from Stringtown, OK, was an academic qualifier coming out of high school. Brown also played at Redlands Community College last year for Eck. Preston narrowed his school choices down to Sam Houston State and Missouri State University. Sam Houston State is the next destination for Brown. Preston, a combo forward more of a 4/3 man, visited Evansville-March 28-30 and also visited both Sam Houston State and Missouri State in the recruiting process. Brown averaged 10 ppg and 6.3 rebounds this year for the Tigers.
