Cronin inks one at Cincinnati

Mick Cronin is proving to be an excellent hire and lightning fast recruiter for the UC Bearcats. Overcoming some time constraints in the early stages of his new post, Cronin has been determined to overcome a depleted roster by adding another commit to his first class of players. After signing John Williamson and Marvin Gentry last week Cronin continued to go to the JUCO well by adding Jamual Warren.
Warren, a 6-foot-2 scoring guard signed his letter-of-intent this weekend, according to several sources. Warren, a 3-star Rivals rated guard out of high school, has been attending Globe Institute of Technology. The guard from Springfield, Mass. averaged 22.2 points and 5.9 assists per game this season and was named to the Junior College All-American team. He started his collegiate career at Colby Community College in Kansas where he was named Jayhawk Conference Freshman of the Year.

The word on Warren is that he is a natural scorer and will fill an obvious need for the Bearcats.
Coach Cronin added, "Jamual is a veteran performer and a solid young man who can give us toughness at the guard position."
Cronin is still hot on the trail of top-tier recruits Eugene Harvey and Tyler Smith, but will most likely add another JUCO player before too long.
