Cruz ends his recruitment

Francisco Cruz has put up solid numbers the past two seasons at Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff. Cruz decided to end his recruitment early this spring after taking an official visit this past weekend. JucoJunction has the latest on where Cruz will play next season.
"Francisco Cruz has committed to the University of Wyoming," according to our friend Marty Richter. Richter is based out in Greeley,CO and covering some junior college basketball this season after having stops at Bowling Green University, Indiana University and Chipola College. Cruz received interest from Washington State, Montana and UNLV this season before deciding on the Cowboys.
Cruz, (SO) 6-foot-4 (210), prepped in high school in Denver, CO but calls Nogales, Mexico home. Cruz is currently averaging 19.6 ppg and 5.6 rebounds this season while shooting 47% (67-142) from three-point range. Cruz has scored now 952 career points while at Western Nebraska Community College. The Cougars are currently 16-10 on the season.
